Chapter 430: Daybreak

"What?" Shen Fei was stunned.

Shen Mo pushed him away. "Go!"

"Brother!" Shen Fei was anxious.

He watched helplessly as Shen Mo ran to the treehouse, picked up Bai Youwei, jumped to the back of the treehouse, and disappeared.

The others were also hiding or fleeing.

Electric arcs crackled around Mary and the Ragdoll Cat, and no one dared to approach.

A few seconds later, the rabbit stopped discharging electricity and hopped away!

Shen Fei gritted his teeth and turned to run!

But the road was full of dolls!

Various dolls were displayed in the windows, signs on the street were decorated with dolls, and even the trash cans were shaped like cartoon animals! Dolls were everywhere in the amusement park, where could he go to avoid them?!

A sign for public restrooms appeared ahead. Shen Fei quickly glanced behind him, didn't see the Ragdoll Cat, and sped up to turn into the restroom!

Shen Mo carried Bai Youwei and hid in the equipment room for the rafting ride.

The room was filled with orange life jackets.

Shen Mo looked around, didn't find any dolls, put Bai Youwei down, and then got up to close the door.

As soon as the door closed, the room became quiet. The noisy music was shut out, and the danger seemed to instantly move away from him and her.

Bai Youwei closed her eyes, and her wildly beating heart finally calmed down.

Bang!

Something crashed into the door that had just closed.

The peace Bai Youwei had just found vanished! She was startled!

Shen Mo frowned, approached the door, and listened for any sound, but there was nothing.

He raised his long sword again, grasped the doorknob with his other hand, and cautiously and slowly, gently pulled the door open…

As soon as a crack appeared, he saw a plush rabbit squeezing in with all its might.

Both of them in the room were stunned.

Shen Mo pulled the door open completely, and the rabbit trotted in and jumped into Bai Youwei's arms.

Shen Mo and Bai Youwei exchanged a look, and the tense atmosphere instantly dissipated, leaving only amusement.

The door closed again, Shen Mo walked over and sat down, asking, "How much power does it have left?"

Bai Youwei hugged the rabbit, gently stroked its ears, and softly replied, "Half."

"Let it go back to charge."

"Okay."

The dollhouse was opened, and the rabbit went in to charge. Only the two of them remained in the equipment room.

Shen Mo pulled her over, held her in his arms, and sat down by the wall to rest.

He was sweaty, and his shirt was soaked, but Bai Youwei didn't mind. She leaned her head against his chest, listening to his strong heartbeat, and felt grounded and at peace. She slowly closed her eyes as well.

This contest with Mary had been too exhausting…

Time passed, minute by minute.

Neither of them spoke.

Occasionally, they heard heavy footsteps outside, and they held their breath even more.

Mary was constantly cursing outside, destroying the scenery and facilities on both sides of the road in a fit of rage, but she never found another person.

The cat's body was already too large, so it couldn't go to many narrow areas. Without the dolls silently providing her with clues, Mary could only wander around the park like a headless fly!

She had the cat kick over roadside trash cans, break the tree trunks of the treehouses, tear apart long strings of colorful flags, and turn the ocean ball pit upside down.

Finally, the night was coming to an end.

Mary and the cat reluctantly returned to the carousel.

The carousel spun slower and slower, and the music grew weaker and weaker…

Finally, it stopped.

The Ragdoll Cat "meowed" and curled its body into a circle, lying down on the canopy to sleep; Mary patted her tutu and found a comfortable angle on the cat's body, and also lay down to sleep.

At the same time, the clock tower chimed once!

Day had broken.
