That night, Lou Ling was online chatting with her classmates when she heard a knock on the door. Before she could go and open it, the door was unlocked with a key.

Lou Ling pricked up her ears but didn’t catch the whole sentence. However, she was certain that he was acting very strangely tonight, as if he had been stimulated by something. He had finally snapped, finally made a move on her. He was a beast!

“What’s wrong with you?” Lou Ling asked. His actions had made her uneasy, as if some great disaster was about to befall them.

He didn’t answer, just lowered his head and gently sucked on her lips, like a kitten, licking and comforting her. “Don’t worry, I’ve got everything under control.”

Lou Ling turned her back to him, not wanting to deal with him.

The night deepened. At four o’clock in the morning, Lou Ling was suddenly awakened by a deafening explosion. She sat up abruptly and was quickly pulled into an embrace.

“What was that?” She looked out the window with sleep-ridden eyes. The entire sky outside was dark red, as if on fire. Although the city’s night sky was always crimson because of the neon lights, it was too red now, and there was a constant meteor shower streaking across it. The dense meteor shower against the dark red sky was a magnificent sight.

“It’s nothing. Go back to sleep.” Lou Dian forcefully pressed her back onto the bed and pulled the blanket over her.

It’s nothing my foot! This is not normal at all!!

Lou Ling screamed inwardly, but he held her tightly and sealed her lips with his own. Damn it! Would this man die if he wasn't being handsy?!

Between struggling and being taken advantage of, Lou Ling was finally worn down to the point of exhaustion. Finding that the commotion outside had subsided, she fell back asleep.

She didn’t know how long she slept, but Lou Ling suddenly felt a chill in the air. This sudden cold air was extremely abnormal for such a pleasant early autumn day. However, she was already sound asleep and didn't have time to think too much about it. Her body instinctively moved towards the source of heat, and she fell back asleep.
