Chapter 93: A Family

Little Parrot, the older brother, was worried sick about his younger brother. Why did he ever think this bossy little brother was special?

"Stop looking at me with that disdainful look!" Mr. Kang couldn't take it anymore.

"The teacher at the office was right, children need to be taught," Little Parrot said with a mature and steady air.

Mr. Kang was starting to question his life. He clearly remembered Little Parrot being very gullible, very innocent, even going so far as to wish for his parents to have a son as excellent as him.

How did things change so much? Mr. Kang refused to admit that it was because he himself was unreliable.

Sure, he lied a lot and betrayed promises he made, but he was still an excellent adult.

Every time he sold out Little Parrot, it wasn't for his own benefit. A parent's heart is always full of love. Big Dad and Violent Mom's child had already become a parrot, didn't they deserve to have a little more information about their child and feel at ease?

That's why he always told Mom and Dad some of his brother's secrets. It wasn't for himself, but for the sake of his poor parents.

Little Parrot looked at his hopeless brother and the more he thought about it, the more he felt that his brother was likely to follow in the footsteps of Pigeon No. 2. He really didn't want to become Pigeon No. 1. Pigeon No. 1 had no time to preen his feathers anymore, his feathers were always messy because he had to find food for his younger brother and comfort him every day.

Little Parrot didn't have such a good temper, maybe after his brother got hurt, he wouldn't be able to resist pecking him a few times.

So he had to get his brother to change his habit of lying and betraying others.

Mr. Kang saw his older brother walk over to his pillow and say, "Little brother, come here, I'll tell you a secret, but you must keep this secret and never tell anyone."

Mr. Kang nodded vigorously, "Don't worry, I will definitely keep this secret and never tell anyone."

The reason why he didn't keep the previous two secrets was because--

A parent's heart is always full of love!

"I'm not actually Mom and Dad's child," Little Parrot said seriously. "This is my biggest secret, you absolutely cannot tell anyone."

Mr. Kang looked up. "What? What did you say?"

"How could you not be your mom and dad's child?" Mr. Kang was stunned.

"I'm a bird, Mom and Dad are humans," Little Parrot said. "I was young before and didn't realize it, but now that I've been in the flock for a long time, I've discovered that humans can only give birth to humans."

Little Parrot sighed and added, "Besides, Mom's nest-building skills are terrible..."

Mr. Kang was stunned, feeling that the latter reason was more important than the former.

So this little parrot was so excited and happy to learn how to build a nest with his mother in front of her, but in reality...

Mr. Kang thought for a moment and said, "Have you ever thought that maybe you were human before?"

Little Parrot looked at his brother like he was an idiot, his expression speaking volumes!

Mr. Kang felt that this look was too familiar. Wasn't this the disdainful look he often used?

Really, he really needed to be a model student in front of Little Parrot from now on!

"I'm the younger brother, I don't understand, you have to explain it to me seriously, don't always look down on me. Look, I'm not looking at Dad with a disdainful look now." Mr. Kang found that when you admit you are the weaker one, everything is easier to deal with.

The hardest thing to deal with in the world is admitting that you are the weaker one.

Sure enough, Little Parrot couldn't escape his brother's routine and explained, "I'm a parrot now, I used to be a pigeon."

Little Parrot didn't know the breed before, but now he knew the breed of birds.

Mr. Kang was stunned. This was a very big clue. Why did the other party think he was a pigeon? Was it because there were many pigeons in the community? Did he see pigeons when he opened his eyes?

This was something he really should tell Mom and Dad.

However, if he said this again, he would lose Little Parrot's trust, and he might even be pushed out of the nest while he was sleeping.

So it was better not to tell Mom and Dad and investigate further on his own.

Late at night, Mr. Kang once again followed behind Violent Mom, fully armed. He had to continue what he didn't finish yesterday. After all, Food Bucket No. 21 fell because of them.

Violent Mom walked in front and asked--

"Are you okay?"

Mr. Kang said resentfully, "You finally remembered that you left me there yesterday. It only took you 24 hours to remember. Mom, you're amazing!"

Xia Sheng comforted him, "I didn't run far at the time. I secretly watched your battle from behind another tree. I saw that the battle wasn't intense, and I only left after you raised the white flag and surrendered."

The child instantly lost his resentment. "That's more like it, but this time we must fight side by side, we absolutely cannot run away one after another."

Mr. Kang said, "It's no big deal, it's just that I have to use an umbrella when I go out now."

"Did Little Parrot recognize me?"

Mr. Kang looked at the person he couldn't recognize and realized the difference between his real son and his fake son. He said, "He didn't recognize you."

"That's good." Xia Sheng thought for a moment and said, "He's been learning to build nests these days. He's too smart, I'm worried he'll teach himself."

Mr. Kang had the same worry. What if the other party taught himself, went out to build a nest, started a family...

It would be fine if he started a family, but what if something happened to him outside? With their brotherhood, he wouldn't have to live anymore!

Actually, at that time, if Violent Mom knew that he still knew some clues about Little Parrot, maybe the pigeon species could lead to the whole truth?

By then, if Little Parrot was gone, even if he wanted to live strong, Violent Mom wouldn't allow it.

Mr. Kang shuddered and asked, "Mom, do you have any impression of pigeons?"

"No, why?"

"Nothing!" By this time, the two of them had reached Building 20 of the community.

The community was still quiet, and occasionally the sound of leaves rustling in the bushes could be heard.

This time, the two foreign aids became smarter.

A dark shadow darted through the night and quickly pushed Trash Can No. 21 between Building 21 and Building 22.

Then it ran away, followed by the sound of stray cats and the flapping of birds' wings.

Xia Sheng came back, her eyes full of pride. "This is a good idea."

"Trash Can No. 21 should belong to Building 21 anyway."

Mr. Kang: "Food Bucket."

"Right, Food Bucket."

As they were talking, the battle over there was over, and the black mass flew towards them again.

Mr. Kang: "Mom, they're here again! I'm just a 4-year-old, so I'll run first, you cover me!"

However, the next second, he saw the person next to him pat his shoulder. "I was a little hesitant just now, but I'm not hesitant anymore."

After saying that, Xia Sheng immediately started running, completely without the noble qualities of an adult.

When Mr. Kang got home, his hair was a mess. Fortunately, they didn't use biochemical weapons this time.

Mr. Kang picked out the twigs from his hair. The door of the house was unlocked. Violent Mom had left the door open for him. Mr. Kang opened the door and was startled.

Standing at the door like two great gods were none other than Violent Mom and Big Dad.

Xia Sheng ran a distance away and once again pretended to be a passerby, watching the birds besiege the former boss.

The birds were actually quite measured. After all, this was still Little Parrot's younger brother, so they bullied him a little and then drove him home. Xia Sheng was just two steps ahead. After all, it was night, and the former boss had the soul of an adult but the body of a child, so although she bullied him verbally, she still looked after him.

As a result, Xia Sheng had just entered the room when the child fell behind a few steps. Xia Sheng opened the door.

She happened to see her husband getting dressed and about to go out to look for the child. Xia Sheng reacted quickly and immediately said, "The child went out to fight stray cats in the middle of the night. I'll go call him back."

Just like that, Mr. Kang watched as Violent Mom went from being his accomplice to being Big Dad's accomplice.

It was too cruel.

The three of them went out to participate in the cat-bird battle, and in the end, he was the only one who needed to come back to face Big Dad.

Big Dad had a stern face and said to Mom, "Go to sleep, you were tired from going out to look for him."

Mr. Kang's heart skipped a beat. To be honest, he had never seen Big Dad lose his temper.

Was he going to see it today?

However, as soon as Violent Mom left, he was picked up by Big Dad and placed on a chair on the balcony.

"Do you know where you went wrong?" Big Dad asked.

The child carefully observed Big Dad's expression and replied, "I shouldn't have run out in the middle of the night."

"It's too dangerous outside, I'm just a child."

"I'm just a four-year-old, so if I did anything wrong, you can punish me by law, don't give me the silent treatment."

"The law can't punish a four-year-old."

"That's why I'm asking you to punish me by law." Mr. Kang said triumphantly.

Big Dad took off the two twigs that were still stuck in his hair. "Your mistake is not running out in the middle of the night!"

"You went out to join the battle between stray cats and birds, and you didn't even call me!" Big Dad said heartbrokenly.

Mr. Kang: "..." Because of the role of father, no matter which man, as long as he had the role of father, he would definitely be associated with maturity and stability.

So, he always forgot that Big Dad was actually only four years older than him.

"Then... next time I'll call you to go with me?"

Of course, when he went with Dad next time, he would avoid Mom.

Mr. Kang suddenly realized the joy of four people in a dorm having to create many groups.

Counting them, there were four people in their family.

But how many teams were they actually divided into?

He and Mom shared the secret of his identity, he and Dad were kitchen partners, he and Little Parrot were brothers who were vying to be the older brother, Dad and Mom were a low-IQ combination who would believe anything you said, Mom and Little Parrot were a mother and son with perfect pitch, and there was Dad and Little Parrot...

He, the true master of interpersonal relationships, had sacrificed too much for this family.
